Participation: Alabaster and the Upcoming Election

To bring about God's Shalom most certainly involves participation. As people of faith, we are invited to participate in the healing of communities, the making of things, the nurturing of our world—all to bring forth the real, beautiful, tangible experience of God.

Participation is also an essential principle in the democratic process. It is a privilege to be able to participate in an election, and so Alabaster is doing its part to ensure all American staff have the ability to vote in the upcoming election.

On November 3rd, all Alabaster staff members will have time off to give them the opportunity to participate through their democratic vote. We encourage all others in the Alabaster community who are eligible to vote to do the same.

Information regarding voter registration deadlines, mail-in ballots, and voting processes in your specific state can be found at Vote.org or VoteAmerica.com.

It is good and beautiful to participate in citizenship. May we enter into the electoral process with wisdom that is "first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere." — James 3:17. Amen.
